WHAT IS THE SCHOOL OF CHRIST INTERNATIONAL? SOC started in Russia in 1992 with its ContinentalBibleSchool. Since then it has worked in and sent students into about 150 countries and is continuing to spread as a means of forging a Vessel of Recovery & Revival. It is now found in every continent stirring the Church to press forward with the great commission. It has spread strongly in the Chinese underground church where it was used to train up leaders in the 'Back to Jerusalem' movement. Across the Middle East Schools are being run in Iraq, Iran and Egypt. No culture, threat or danger is a barrier, Schools are run in Cuba, Indonesia, Zambia, Albania and Ireland. At any given time 40 separate Schools are running in different places in India. Multitudes in prisons across Russia, Siberia, Peru and the States have been trained and known the call of God to preach in those prisons. We train those who already have been actively in ministry for many years as well as those who are responding to the initial call of God to service.
Mt.24v14, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
EUROPEAN. Over recent years Limerick of Ireland, in the south-west Ireland, has acted as our European base in the work of the School into this Prodigal Continent. Limerick is just a 30 minute drive from ShannonInternationalAirport. Students have come from across Europe as well as Africa, America and other regions of the world. Of all
the continents the work of the School is at its earliest stage in Europe. Regular Schools are being run and will increase according to the amount of students seeking training. The School can be run in various European languages such as French, Russian, Spanish, German and God willing will be translated into most if not all European languages. We are presently looking towards running schools in Germany and Spain.
PENTECOSTAL BIBLE SCHOOL. Christ closed His disciples in with Himself as their training, this is what we seek to do, all the teaching is to this end that each student may learn Christ and so the name 'School of Christ' was given in order to reflect this. The life of this School flows out of the fervent times of prayer and the powerful preaching of the Word. We have no special gimmick, doctrine, manifestation, strategy or revelation. We believe in a genuine born again, life changing experience of Jesus Christ followed by a Baptism and infilling of the Holy Ghost. We do not need the Saul's armour that is being forced on today's church. We must return to the upper room and from there reach a lost and dieing world. Many Bible Schools have departed from Truth, holiness, simplicity and power. By the grace of God we intend to stand fast as a voice to this generation.
SUBJECTS. The School of Christ is comprised of 158 lessons divided up into 19 series. These series cover many aspects that are not covered in most Bible Schools and Colleges. The School of Christ is not meant to replace long-term Bible schools or seminaries. The School is God's answer to those men and women who are called of God, but who do not have the time or means to attend the seminary. It is designed to equip men and women to plant new churches, and to carry the Gospel intelligently to those regions beyond. We believe that the church comes out of life, not doctrine or orthodoxy or by human effort and resource. If the student can become full of the life of God, then wherever he or she goes in the will of God, a church will be born.

WHO IS B.H.CLENDENNEN? Bro.Clendennen has been an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God for 60 years although he will freely minister among all who are hungry for the Word of God. He has been married to his wife Janice for 61 years. He was born in 1922 and saved in 1949. He soon felt the call of God and set out as an itinerant evangelist. In 1956 he planted a church which he Pastored for the next 35 years. During that time he held crusades across the USA as well as in many other countries. They were in Vietnam during most of the war where they preached and prayed until Pentecost broke upon the people. Over the years he has ministered by radio, television and books but above all else by "Going." (You can read a fuller biographical sketch under the Pentecostol Pioneer section).
FUTURE POTENTIAL. Carried in our heart is a great vision of what God can do through lives totally dedicated to Him and His will. We have the School translated into at least 25 different languages on DVD. We have the potential to run the School in a number of languages, Polish, Russian, Arabic, French and Spanish to mention a few. We also want to carry the School out into each European nation as a tool to recover the Church to reality once more. We are praying that God will open the door that we will be enabled to train students from across Europe in their own language as well as training the many diverse cultures and nations represented within the UK and Ireland. EUROPEAN DIRECTORS. Since 2002 Keith Malcomson has overseen the running of annual European Schools in Ireland as well as further a field. Along with his wife Candace he travel's ministering in local Churches and conventions. They are burdened for the 'Prodigal Continent' of Europe and desire to see Leaders and Churches raised up to meet the need of this hour. They are available to come share about the work of God as well as to minister the Word of God.
FOREIGN STUDENTS. We would ask all students outside of Europe to go via our office in Beaumont Texas (www.socintl.org). Schools are running in India, Africa, Pakistan etc and will be closer and less expensive for you. We really want to concentrate on European students although we will take those from other countries under special circumstances. Pastor B.H. Clendennen
May 22nd 1922 - December 13th 2009
We are sad to announce the sad departure of B.H. Clendennen who has walked with and served the Lord faithfully and fruitfully over the past 60 years.
Brother Clendennen went to be with the Lord at about 1am on Sunday morning.
We have lost one of our dearest friends as well as our Pastor and fellow-labourer. We shall miss him dearly. Much thanks to all those who have been in prayer for our Brother. The following is a letter from Sister Clendennen and family.
We would like to take this opportunity to relate to all our beloved friends the passing of Bro. Clendennen this Sunday Morning at 12:55 a.m. As most of you well know he had been in the fight of his life. Today he won the ultimate victory as he is in the arms of the Beloved Savior.
We want you to know how much he appreciated each and every one of you who had supported the School of Christ with your prayers and financial support. He truly believed he was called to share the Gospel of Pentecost to all the world and your support enabled him to be obedient to the call. Without a doubt, an abundant entrance has been afforded him as he rejoices in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
He would have only two wishes: First that you would continue to support the School as it will continue on reaching out until every lost human has the opportunity to hear the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Second, he would admonish you individually to re-dedicate your life to absolute service to the Gospel, as we must surely be in the last days.
Like Paul, he has run the race and finished the course with the victory and now before him awaits the crown of the victorious. Out of this time of struggle God has begun such a mighty work. In the upcoming days we will relate some of the great testimonies that have begun to come in daily.
Again, thank you all for your fellowship and support. Please pray for us as we go through this time of loss. Your prayers are our source of continual strength. For those who are able to attend, there will be a public viewing and service at Victory Temple Church in Beaumont. The visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a brief funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
